Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Surplus Asset Intel, an information and research platform for publicly listed government surplus auctions.
1. What this service is
Surplus Asset Intel indexes publicly available auction listings and publishes research outputs such as estimated market values, modeled costs and opportunity scores. We are not an auctioneer, dealer, broker or agent, and we do not sell, hold, inspect or transport any asset.
2. No guarantee of outcome
All valuations, spreads, savings figures and scores are informational estimates produced by models from indexed data. They are not appraisals, offers, investment advice or assurances of resale value. You are solely responsible for your own inspection, diligence and bidding decisions.
3. Source listings control
Auction terms, fees, deadlines, titling requirements and asset condition are set by the originating auction house or agency. Where our data conflicts with the source listing, the source listing controls.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for scraping, resale of data, or abuse of the platform.
5. Membership and billing
Paid memberships renew on the interval selected at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals; see the refund policy for the treatment of amounts already billed.
6. Acceptable use
You may not scrape, resell, sublicense or bulk-export platform data, attempt to bypass access controls, or use the platform to interfere with any auction process.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surplus Asset Intel is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses arising from purchase decisions made using platform data.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
